Colonne Vendôme (also called the Austerlitz column) is the name of a column that Napoleon I had put down on the Place Vendome in 1810 while he was also given for the Arc de Triomphe.
Colonne de Vendôme is a triumphal column made from 1200 steel cannons that were captured at the Battle of Austerlitz. Top left Napoleon statue of himself places. This picture was taken in 1814 and then replaced by a statue of Louis XIV, which in turn was replaced by a flag with the French lily later.
In 1871 the old image of Napoleon I was taken down at the Commune uprising but returned by Napoleon II.
Today again there is a statue of Napoleon I.
