Camping Valkenhof focuses mainly on the tourist campers. The car-free area offers the children a carefree environment, lots of fun in sandboxes and on playground equipment. Allowing couples to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The facilities fit perfectly with the intimate nature of the site. The cosy village Westerbork is within walking distance of the site. The Valkenhof is the central location also an excellent starting point for many hiking and biking trips.

Whether you want a spot in the woods or rather on the pitch, you always have a generous comfortable camping spot amidst the beautiful nature.
Incidentally, the middle ground of the fields remains free so that you have plenty of privacy and the children can play to their hearts content. From your place, you can keep an eye on the little ones.

The sanitary facilities of Camping Valkenhof are of excellent quality where hygiene is high priority. On site you will find two large modern toilet blocks with special baby and toddler wash heated in the low season. The washing does not have to be done by hand. For that we have a laundry.

The peace, the nature combined with the fresh air provides for a good night's sleep. And a good night's sleep means a lot of energy during the day. This is necessary because you can do everything here. The modern heated outdoor swimming pool with separate paddling pool and a large playground always invites you for a swim.

Or challenge the kids to a game of table tennis. The campsite has more than enough room to run around, play tag or cycle around. During the school holidays there is a recreational program, especially for small children. Including crafts, lantern parade and tracking.
