The camp is named after the 210,000 ha National Park in Swedish Lappland. This vast area is only in the summer inhabited by some reindeer herders with their thousands of animals. They find it an excellent summer meadow where space and tranquility abound for humans and animals.

Our campsite is situated in the natural areas of South West Drenthe, adjacent to the Frisian woods and the water area of Overijssel. By Dutch standards we have unprecedented space, tranquility and fresh air.

The site is centrally located so a good starting point for various tours through the forests. Scores of kilometers of trails provide opportunities for hiking through nature areas.

The place for caravan or tent is spacious and partially shielded by shrubbery. Each place has its own water supply and a drain to the sewer for the dirty water. The showers and toilets are located in Finnish log. We also have toilet and shower for the disabled.

On site you will find Inn 'Wild Court. A restaurant where you can eat well for a reasonable price.

The village Vledder is not far from here, about 1 km and offers good facilities. Supermarket, snack bar and weekmarkten.Zoekt a bigger place than his Steenwijk, Meppel Assen, Zwolle quickly and easily accessible. Vledder itself has a forest pool, Steenwijk an indoor pool. Furthermore, there are several recreational lakes in the immediate vicinity.

A wide range of museums and attractions are worth visiting.

During the holiday season there is a recreational team for the children at the camp site. All sorts of activities take place in 'het Praathuis' and the Arena. Every week we organize a cycling tour and there is a 'klaverjas' (a cardgame somewhat like Whist) evening and a bingo night.

The camp is ideal for those seeking tranquility, nature lovers and not the youngest camper. We want to offer our guests a good "Summer Meadow".
