At the edge of the beautiful state forests of Drenthe with heathland, lakes and sand dunes, the rural campsite offers many opportunities for lovers of hiking, biking and absolute peace.

To get acquainted with this oasis of peace and quiet or to get to know this area better there are beautiful hiking and cycling routes available directly from the campsite. The front entrance of the campsite is accessible by car / bike and ideally by public transport, very good bus stop (line Emmen / Assen) next to the entrance.

The campsite is ideal for campers who want to enjoy nature, peace and quiet. As the site is not directed to children, it is very suitable for the 30 +. If you are not yet 45 + but are looking for nature, peace and quiet you are also welcome. On the site you will find 15 spacious places. All seats are equipped with electricity and water.

In the immediate vicinity you will find sights such as the dolmens, Ellert and Brammert open air museum village Orvelte and the Emmen Zoo. There are also forest lakes where you can swim. The town Schoonoord where you can do your daily shopping can be reached by cycling a distance of 10 minutes.
