Camping the Eastern Meadow offers 20 spacious pitches, which are spread over the park-like, approximately 1 acre, grounds.

The campsite is located 2 km east of Pesse and at 6 km north of Hoogeveen, so centrally located in the province of Drenthe. Because of its location and facilities the site is suitable for the elderly and families with small children.

Near 'Oosterweide' will find forestries (eg the Dwingelo heath), with hiking and biking trails, a recreational lake, the 'Boerenveense Plassen', the 'Nuilerveld' (for walking), the highest point of Drenthe in Wijster. The village Pesse has a supermarket and several restaurants. If you want more, you can include visits to Hoogeveen, Emmen, Assen and Groningen.
