The Norwegian Maritime Museum shows Norway's coast and maritime traditions with permanent exhibits about coast culture and maritime history. Their collection of maritime art reflects the perspectives that Norwegian artists have had on the coast and the sea. An impressive multi-screen film by Ivo Caprino gives you a panoramic experience of the ocean and sea. The museum building has won an architectural award and is situated in a park setting by the approach to Oslo harbor.
