The Tour des Prises campsite is an ideal place to visit the beautiful island of Ile de Ré.

By cycle, we are just 2 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from the village of La Couarde sur Mer with it’s daily market and twenty minutes from the prettiest, and perhaps most famous village on the island, Saint-Martin de Ré.

Opened in 1982, the Tour des Prises campsite has deservedly earned it’s reputation as one of the premier campsites on the island and in 2003, 2004 and 2005 won the highly valued quality award.

Set next to a wood and away from the road, the campsite has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that is ideal for relaxing. And with trees dotted throughout the campsite there are many shady areas that afford al fresco eating.

It is ideal place to come for a relaxing holiday for young and old alike.
