Information

Château Bellegarde les Fleurs is the oldest castle, dating from the 19th century in the vicinity of the village of Châteauneuf-la-Forêt. Because of the quiet and wooded area is the castle early 20th century transformed into a sanatorium. Until 1995, the estate served as a sanatorium, hospital and nursing home.

Since 1999 living and working your hosts, Jaap & Nicole on the estate.
The castle must be thoroughly refurbished to bring it back. In its original glory The roof has been redone like all windows.

Since the summer of 2006, Jaap & Nicole inhabit the top floor of the castle. There is still a lot of work but in July and August to completely stop the work to be ready for guests.

Truly unique is the large pond in the middle of the forest, the pergola with a hundred year old wisteria, the castle garden with pool (now pool for children), original balustrades, old trees (eg, the 300 year old oak tree next to the castle); in short, too many to mention.
For the (natural) enthusiast walking about the estate several hiking and mountain biking trails.
