About Berlin
Berlin (German: Berlin) is the capital of Germany, it is also a state. Berlin is a metropolis city and the largest city in the country, with nearly 3.5 million inhabitants. It is also one of the largest cities of the European Union.
In Europe, Berlin is one of the biggest cultural, political and scientific centers. Many artist are attracted to this city instead of Paris
This is also because the city is known for highly developed cultural life (festivals, nightlife, museums, art exhibitions, etc.) and the free lifestyle, modern zeitgeist and low cost.
Berlin is one of the greenest cities in Europe: 18% of Berlin consists of natural parks and 7% from lakes, rivers and canals.
The city is located in the northeast of the country, on the river Spree and is enclosed by the Land of Brandenburg, which since 1920 does not belong.
As already mentioned, Berlin is not boring. Its very the contrary: at night, especially on weekends, bursting with celebrations and parties. Socially, there are hardly any troubles with arguments or fights and therefore the police almost invisible. The people watch over each other.
