Address: Stare Mesto

Information
The Czech name for The Astronomical Clock is Orloj. The cook is in the facade of the town hall on the Old Town Square. This gives not only the time the days and month position again. Hourly two small doors open and you see a parade of Christ and apostles passing by. On the side are figures shaking their heads.
One figure carries a purse and allows for greed. Another figure admires herself in the mirror and vanity sets for. On the right is a Turk with a turban and a miser. At that time, saith the skeleton of Death the clock with one hand, while holding an hourglass with his other hand. The skeleton nods, as if to say: Your time has been! At the end of a golden rooster crows.
The clock was completed in 1490 by clockmaker Hanus. According to legends left councilors by a glowing sword eyes protrude him so he could no longer make a Similar clock.
