The Belfry is the vehicle of the belfry, the bell tower. It stands on the Grote Markt in Bruges.
The belfry tower is a brick-built 83 meter high bell tower. It was built in early Gothic style. The tower can be climbed, so ingenious clock mechanism and a carillon with 47 bells can be detected. It's 366 steps to the top, but with good weather it provides a magnificent view over Bruges.
