Augustus the Strong, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, was the representative of Schloss Moritzburg and jbouwde for hunting and pleasure lodge on the walls of the former Renaissance building just outside the gates of Dresden.

Not only the porcelain figurines collection of Augustus the Strong, but also the richly painted and decorated leather wall paintings represent a part of the Saxon history.
